Nitya Kirat

Founder and CEO

Nitya has built, delivered, and coached sales and sales leadership development programs at companies including PIMCO, BlackRock, Allianz Global Investors, MetLife, Google, Causeway Capital, and Transamerica.


Nitya has worked in sales and consulting roles for the past 18 years. He was an award-winning salesperson at Schering-Plough and UBS prior to starting YOSD. Nitya’s sales strategies have also been influenced by his global perspectives, having lived and worked in several parts of the world including Singapore, India, Tanzania, and Belgium.

Nitya received a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from New Jersey Institute of Technology and an M.B.A from the UCLA Anderson School of Management, where he is an active Director on the UCLA Anderson Alumni Board.

He lives in Los Angeles with his wife and daughter, and loves to watch and play soccer whenever he can.

Laura Huusko

Director of Learning

Laura’s first passion is education, and she brings that spirit to YOSD every day, creating sales training activities and new ways to engage others and enhance learning. Always an optimist, she loves to envision a meeting from beginning to end and zero in on the little things that elevate a training from good to great, such as meaningful breakout activities, infusing energy at appropriate times, and creating authentic experiences.

Laura has work experience in education, HR Consulting, and entertainment, working for companies PDI Ninth House, Academic Achievers, and Sony Pictures among others. Laura received her BA from Southeast Missouri State University and teaching credential from California State University Northridge.

Laura’s other interests include learning about other cultures and languages, and sings regularly in the Los Angeles area with the Angeles Chorale, a semi-professional choir. A fitness enthusiast, she enjoys Southern California’s beautiful weather hiking and running outside as often as possible.

Brian Lowery


Brian is a coach and consultant to senior sales leadership teams and multinational sales and customer service organizations.  He has worked with clients on topics ranging from executive leadership, excellence in sales and customer service, becoming a top performer and building world-class sales teams.  He has worked globally with clients including Google, PIMCO, Wachovia, Transamerica, AON, Morgan Stanley, Anthem/Blue Cross, and Facebook.  

Prior to his work as a consultant,  Brian was a leading sales producer and sales manager for one of the largest training and consulting companies in the world.  Brian started his sales career with Ingersoll-Rand, where he was recognized as the company’s youngest award-winning Area Sales Manager.

Brian earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Rutgers University and currently lives in Long Beach, California with his wife Kim and occasionally his two children in college, Kendall and Bryce.

Harrison Sallow


Harrison comes to YOSD Consulting with over 10 years of sales management experience. He has worked and consulted with large companies and startups in the fitness, healthcare and consumer packaged goods fields. He specializes in sales strategy and implementation. Prior to starting at YOSD, Harrison had extensive experience in leading large sales teams, scaling existing sales operations and bringing new products to market.

Harrison received a B.A. in Psychology from the University of California Santa Barbara. He is involved in work in his community, where he is an active Area Director in the volunteer organization Toastmasters International.

He lives in Santa Monica, which allows him to get down to the beach regularly to play football and ultimate frisbee.

Andrew Miller


Andrew specializes in helping companies accelerate revenue by aligning teams, clients, partners, processes, and other internal and external stakeholders. His core strengths include:  sales and team development, process optimization, complex negotiations and deal structuring, and stakeholder alignment.  


Andrew has deep expertise in financial services (asset management, private equity, venture capital, research, and back office), insurance, talent management, enterprise software & services, and real estate. He has worked with clients including Citibank, Fortress Investment Group, First Manhattan, UnitedHealth, Compass Real Estate, ThomsonReuters, Amherst Capital, GIC Singapore, Mitsui Corp, and many others.


He has been fortunate to live and work on four continents over the last 25 years, including his home base in Hong Kong for more than two decades. He received a B.A. in Literature from Lewis & Clark College in Portland, Oregon, and an M.B.A from the Middlebury Institute of International Studies. Andrew has traveled to over 35 countries and currently lives in the Bay Area with his wife and family. On the weekends, you’ll find him cycling the Marin roads or running the Mt. Tam trails.

Bailey Lang

Director of Content

Bailey Lang has over a decade of writing and editing experience. She started her career as a communications analyst for a global company, taught writing at a large public university, written research articles and books, and assisted writers and businesses with everything from novels to RFPs. She specializes in assisting individual writers, small companies, and large organizations tell stories that matter and reach new audiences.

Bailey has a BA in creative writing from Ohio University, an MA in rhetoric and writing from the University of Findlay, and a PhD in rhetoric and writing studies from Bowling Green State University. She is the founder of The Writing Desk, LLC, where she serves as a writer, editor, and coach. She lives in northwest Ohio with her husband.
